- Mr. Kirby,
-
- Did you ever think that perhaps Mr. Legendre was looking for c code to
- handle graphics?
-
- Where I went to school, the only way the department chair could get
- the University to approve a c course was to point out that the
- approved graphics programming course required the use of c (it was
- based on GKS, and in the middle of that semester the vendor dumped the
- product...sigh).
-
- A lot of graphics systems use c because of its portability. Isn't
- that one of the great things about c?
-
- Your response makes it look as if you watch the newsgroup to shoot
- down questions that don't fit your (fairly narrow) idea of what
- belongs. That task belongs to a moderator. Since this is instead a
- free-for-all group, you could at least have put your response in more
- polite terms.
-
- Regards,
- Glenn
